Many people find the months between the holidays and arrival of spring to be wonderful to spruce up their home’s interior. If you are getting the itch to jazz up your home or apartment consider spending some time in the arts district of downtown Canton at Second April Art Galerie. Don’t be put off thinking because its an art gallery that the prices are sky high… they offer art in a wide range of price points. You’ll find wall art, glass art, pottery to fit your budget. Support local artists and give yourself the boost of original art!
While you are at Second April be sure to check out the studios on the second floor. Digital art, photography, landscape oil paintings, wall murals are available in a range of styles and sizes by individual artists. The tabs at the top of this page will give you more information on the different artists.
Don’t forget to also check out the artists in the Annex, also on the second floor. Carolyn Jacob specializes in home decor and can customize her beautiful photography to go with whatever color scheme you have in your home or office. First Friday is this week and the gallery, studio and annex will be open until 10:00 PM if you want to pop in and see it all in one shot. Some people find it is best to come by when it is not so crowded so they can browse and talk with the artists. The gallery is open Tues.- Sat. every week. We welcome you to take advantage of all the talent under one roof!
