On the second level of Second April Art Galerie you’ll find individual artist’s work in their respective studios. Some people use the space to work in and some use the space as a gallery or both. On this page I will introduce the artists and give links and contact information. We encourage you to stop by and visit anytime during regular gallery hours. On Fridays we have ‘Open Studios’ which gives the public a chance to leisurely visit and talk with the artists. Some of the artists will be at work and will welcome you to watch. We strive to create a warm environment that draws you into the creative process. Art is meant to be viewed, discussed and engage so we feel this is important.
Many people’s first exposure to the arts district is during First Friday. We love the crowds and energy on those days but are also aware that in order to really take in all that the area has to offer that it takes some time and reflection. Please enjoy First Fridays attractions and activities but plan to stop by often on other days as well to really soak up all that we have to offer. On another page I will share links to restaurants, museums, galleries and other attractions so you can plan your day. We can accommodate groups and with prior notice can have an artist on hand to answer questions or do a demonstration. Todd and Brennis, the gallery owners are always available too.
